Christian formation is the cornerstone of activities at Saint David of Wales. Sunday school is held at 9:15 a.m. during the academic year for all children (K-12).  Nursery is available to ages 6 weeks to 4 years old.

Our class line up for this year is:

Godly Play – Ages 4-6

Godly Kids – Ages 7-9

Godly Tweens – Ages 10 & 11

Credo – Ages 12-17: A class about discipleship & learning about your faith.  It is also a confirmation preparation class. If you desire your child to be confirmed, please let one of the clergy know.  If your child has already been confirmed, it is still a class for them!

We offer Children’s Chapel for children ages 4-8 every Sunday during the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist throughout the year called Rite K(ids).  Rite K is held in the chapel across from the sanctuary and is a service designed to prepare kids for “big church”.

During the course of the year there are a number of special events, including a Sunday school kick-off party, Fall Festival, Advent preparation activities, Epiphany pageant, Lenten children’s dinner program, Easter egg hunt and Vacation Bible school (VBS). For more information concerning Children’s Christian Formation, contact Jamie Miller ( ) or the parish office.

There are two Sunday adult study classes that meet at 9:15, the Rector’s Forum and one adult Bible study group led by a parish member. All classes for children and adults meet throughout the school year from September through May.

Every member of our staff and vestry, and all staff and volunteers who work with youth and children, are certified by the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas’s Safeguarding God’s Children program. This includes a background check and abuse prevention and awareness training.
