The Annual Parish Meeting for the Parish of Saint David of Wales was held Sunday, January 27th, following the only morning liturgy that was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. A brunch was provided by the vestry for the parish.

Approximately 115 gathered for this year's Annual Parish Meeting which was an occasion to receive reports, fellowship by eating brunch together and to elect the lay leadership for 2008.

After a marvelous video presentation done with Powerpoint and the Rector's Address, the following were elected from a slate of eleven vestry nominees for three year terms of office: Eddie Touraine, Jan Rousey and David Williamson. Elected as delegates to Diocesan Convention: Jolayne LaCour, Steve Hale, Beverly Ivey and Mary Jo Pickens. Elected as alternates to convention were Donald Pickens, Pete Bradbury, Vern Bassett and Lindsay Keffer.

Leslie Latham was awarded the first annual Saint David of Wales Award for Mission and Ministry (the M & M award!) for being an outstanding parishioner in 2007.

At the vestry re-organization meeting held in the parlor following the APM, the following were elected to serve as officer's: Don Reese, Junior Warden, Ed Nancarrow, Treasurer and Andy Odom, clerk.  The Rector appointed Steve Hale as Senior Warden.
